Music video shot with the revolvograph, a digital camera designed to create abstract coloured patterns by spinning it at 1800 rotations per minute.
The combination of a high speed rotating motor with a digital camera. The camera is recording videos at 30 frames per second while at the same time spinning at 30 rotations per second (1800 rpm). For every frame of the video, the camera does a full revolution on itself. The effects created are abstract moving patterns of colours in concentric circles. The lens can be mounted in different positions to create different patterns.
Music video directed and shot for 88888888, a single of Flavien Berger’s first album Léviathan. Distributed by Pan European recording.
